The Bond APIs enable users to access a comprehensive collection of bond data. This includes current prices, historical prices, interest rates, and other relevant details.
File uploads allow you to fully customize the table format. It is also important that uploads are used as a tool for providing large amounts of data. The provided files can be in the following formats: CSV (various separators supported), XLS and XLSX, XML.
To effectively receive data through the web-service, software should be developed on the client side. You can connect with the web-service via http requests in WSDL+SOAP or JSON format. Web-service assumes simple queries (for data filtering and volume), the processing time of which is measured in milliseconds.
1. Investment Feed Analysis Method. An investment firm uses the bond API to retrieve bond data for analyzing fixed-income securities. By using the search results and feed feature, they get historical prices for various bonds. They can also access fundamental data and reference data to identify specific bonds.
2. Financial Services Integration. A financial app integrates the bond API to provide users all over the world with comprehensive bond data. The app uses the API to retrieve general information about bonds, including prices, historical data, and details.
3. Risk Management. A company involved in risk management uses the bond API to generate detailed reports on the debt securities they hold. By requesting master data and specific dataset parameters, they can analyze the sector performance and revenue generated by these securities.
4. Stock Market Analysis. An analyst uses the bond API to compare bonds and stocks by retrieving stock reference data and mutual fund information. They use the API to access the following fields: company name, sector, and revenue.
5. Global Financial Reporting. A global financial institution uses the bond API to create reports on exchanges worldwide. They retrieve general information and specific data sets using the API, including the value and prices of a bond or note in different markets.
Try pre-configured public test access or request individual access to a limited list of instruments. Cbonds offers a free API for a few instruments for testing period.
The bond API provides a wide collection of data including payments data, security type, historical data, fundamental data, and market data. This data covers various securities like corporate bonds, treasury bonds, and other fixed-income instruments. The API has over 100 field types, including classifiers, that contain detailed bond parameters, including ISIN, ticker, region/sector/industry class, security type, interest rate type, base rate, coupon, day counting rules, outstanding/nominal/principal amounts, and more.
Access to data can only be granted with a bilateral agreement that specifies the terms and obligations of use due to security concerns. We can only enter into such an agreement with a legal entity.
