It also provides asset management, stock brokerage, custody and advisory, bond and cash management, project financing, and craft business and investment banking services. In addition, the company offers various cards, transfer and exchange services, bancassurance, electronic payment services, and online services. It operates a network of approximately 560 branches, including 20 business centers and 1 corporate branch; and approximately 600 ATMs. Banque Marocaine du Commerce Exterieur S.A. was founded in 1959 and is based in Casablanca, Morocco. BMCE Bank of Africa's Extraordinary General Meeting, convened by Mr. Othman Benjelloun, Chairman of the Board of Directors, was held on Thursday March 5TH , 2020 at 5 p.m. at the Bank's head office at 140, Avenue Hassan II Casablanca. Shareholders, present and represented, and those who voted by proxy, held a total of 148,845,030 shares, or 74.5% of the Share Capital. The Extraordinary General Meeting, whose main purpose was the Bank's name change, unanimously adopted all of the resolutions. After reviewing the Board of Directors' Report, the Extraordinary General Meeting approved the Bank's new name: 'BANK OF AFRICA', abbreviated to 'BOA'.
